Name: Devin Maxwell


Credentials: A.S., B.S., PN1, CFSC


Bio: West Los Angeles native, Devin Maxwell, is extremely passionate about the development of athletes. 


Devin graduated from Morrisville State College, with a Bachelor of science degree in Human Performance and an Associates of science degree in Sports Nutrition and Fitness management. While at Morrisville, Devin competed as a NCAA Division 3 lacrosse player. In 2010, he led the team to their first ever North East Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship and Post season Tournament appearance in school history, as well as 3 consecutive undefeated regular season championships (2010,2011,2012). In 2012, Devin led the team in scoring and finished his career with 99 points. Ending his career on the top 5 all time scorers list in program history.


Devin’s passion for lacrosse lives on, as he serves as the Director of player development for the Culver City Lacrosse club and the Assistant coach for the Varsity team at Culver City High School.


Devin comes to the WSBLC with 13+ years of youth coaching experience.



Name: Eliud Evans 

Credentials: A.S., B.S., XPS, CFSC

Fitness and Performance Coach

Youth Development Coach


Bio: Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Eliud attended Culver City High School, and went on to continue his education at Morrisville St. College 


While at Morrisville State College Eliud graduated with A.S. Sports Nutrition and Fitness Management and B.S. Human Performance and Health Promotion


Eliud earned a number of Accolades while playing for Morrisville state.

Name: Matthew A. Hernandez

Bio: Matt was born and raised in Los Angeles and began playing lacrosse while attending Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, CA.


After graduating high school, he attended Whittier College in Whittier, CA while earning his BA in Sociology, graduating in 2016.


In 2018 he played for Mexico’s Men’s Lacrosse Team in the Lacrosse World Games in Netanya, Israel. Matt has been coaching Youth Lacrosse since 2012.



Name: Jason Sindelar 

Bio: Raised in Los Angeles, Jason was a Culver City High School Varsity Lacrosse Player in '03-'05 


In high school, Jason earned CCHS Defensive MVP 2005 and was named a Pacific Coast Lacrosse League All Star 2005


After his high school career, began his coaching career

Jason served as Culver City High School Varsity Offensive Coordinator in ’06-'09, Head coach of CCLAX Stars Club Team '07-'08

 and coached Los Angeles LAX youth club team in ’07-'08.


Jason most recently, coaches the youth program for the Culver City lacrosse club.

Name: Peter Pina

Bio: Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Peter Attended Culver City High School where he earned rookie of the year in 2014 and was 3x all ocean league


Peter went on to continue education at Morrisville State College. Studying IT management 

Peter led the team to 3 consecutive NEAC Championships and 

3 NCAA Tournament Appearances

Name: Nick Shanks

Nick Shanks from Laguna Beach, CA was a 4 year starter for the Tufts Jumbos. Starting his freshman year as defensive midfielder, Shanks quickly took the NESCAC and Division III by storm as he became the third player in Tufts history to be named a First Team All American as a sophomore.

That year Shanks was also named to the All NESCAC Team as well as being a First Team All New England selection.


To open Shanks Junior year, he was named a preseason First Team All American. He went on to be a Third Team All American, First Team All NESCAC, and All New England Selection in his Junior Campaign.


Shanks once again opened his Senior year on the preseason All American list. Although his Senior season was cut short due to COVID, Shanks was a named a First Team All American Attackman.


Shanks final accolade came post graduation, being name a USILA Scholar All American. Shanks currently works for ICM Partners in Los Angeles.
